Welcome to the ABBT website. My name is Annemarie Bult, a certified English interpreter with over 15 years of experience, which I gained after obtaining my Master’s degree in English and Spanish Interpreting from the University College Brussels. (With honors, I can’t resist mentioning that, simply because I'm so proud of it.) I am a simultaneous interpreter, consecutive interpreter, court interpreter, online interpreter, and now also active as an AI interpreting partner. I enjoy interpreting for courts, notaries, lawyers, and mediators. I also enjoy working for companies, hospitals, and government organizations as an interpreter during conferences and meetings.
I am driven by my passion for language and my desire to learn everything there is to know about a subject. And I have learned to take cultural differences into account when interpreting, thanks to my experience and the attention I pay to what people want to say or achieve. This enables me to translate fluently, quickly, and effectively, while remaining in the background and not taking the stage at any time.
